Portrait of George Floyd (print) with profits donated.

I was powerfully moved as many were by the horrifying cruelty inflicted upon George Floyd. His death inspired me to create this drawing to memorialize him. I am also making available high-quality art prints of this work with ALL profits from sales going to the Black Lives Matter movement.

This artwork was selected to appear in an online gallery show “Art for Social Change: Dissent” sponsored by the Oak Park Art League. The Oak Park Art League (OPAL) was founded in 1921 and is one of the longest, continually-running non-profit arts organizations in Illinois. The judge of the show purchased the original drawing, but prints are still available.

The giclee print is available unframed for $50 at the same size 9″ x 12″ with shipping included. And to reiterate, ALL profits after printing and shipping costs will be donated to the Black Lives Matter organization. Prints come on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Ultra Smooth 305 paper an excellent heavyweight paper stock that I have compared to others for high-quality fine art prints. The matt premium coating provides excellent print results with impressive reproduction of color, detail and very deep black. Notes on this paper stock:

  • 305 gsm, 100% cotton
  • Discreet, very finely textured surface with a strikingly silky feel
  • Acid-free and lignin-free
  • ISO 9706 conform / museum quality for highest age resistance
