About.
It’s all one big plastic hassle.
My inspirations are constantly fluctuating, and my technique evolves from project to project and form to form, but my creative shrine is currently burning with William S. Burroughs, Valerie Solanas, Richard Dawkins, Alex Grey, Todd Schorr, Guy Debord, Timothy Leary, Aldous Huxley, Nietzsche, Michel de Montaigne, Junko Mizuno, Mark Ryden, Alice in Wonderland, Native American history, Curious George, King Kong, Ganesh, Artaud, Daniel Pinchbeck, and Yoshitomo Nara.
My writing craft is founded upon a Master’s Degree in English Literature, a lifelong obsession with words, several years as a music critic for Tailspin magazine, and 14 years as a professional writer and creative director. Death by Zamboni, available on Amazon, was my first novel, and Bridge literary magazine published my first short story, Blank. My second novel, A Greater Monster, is also now available on Amazon and at the following bookstores in Chicago: Unabridged Bookstores, Quimby’s Bookstore, Sandmeyer’s Bookstore and Chicago Comics. I’m an obsessive creator, and when I’m not writing, I’m painting or performing improv. I was interviewed in writing by the Newcity newspaper, The Next Best Book Blog, and author Jade Kerrion and on a blog talk radio show called A Book and a Chat.
